Trip details
Fly fish the Alaskan wilderness near Juneau for native salmon, steelhead, trout, dolly varden, & more. Your guide will pick you up and take you to a remote river on a jet boat where they will give fishing instruction according to your skill level. Whether you are a die hard fisherman or want to try something new, we have you covered! Target species are dependent on the season. If you have a specific fish you want to target, we can book you accordingly. Charters are available in half day or full day trips. Half day trips are 4-5 hours, boat launch to boat takeout. Full day trips are 7-9 hours from launch to takeout. Overall charter length varies depending on pickup and fishing location, and can be modified to fit your time window. • If you contact us during our May-September guiding season, it is likely that we are out with other clients during the day. If we miss your call or you send an email, we will reach back out to you as soon as possible – usually the same day or within 24 hours. • A 5% city sales tax and gratuities are not included in the listed rates. All fishing is catch & release to conserve the fish runs. We will not keep or process any fish. • All excursions are PRIVATE. You will never be combined with anyone outside your group. • DISCOUNTS: We offer a 10% discount for all law enforcement and military personnel. We also offer a 15% discount for Juneau locals! • The boat is an open skiff. This means that your waders and rain coat are the only thing between you and the elements. It is highly recommended that you dress in layers underneath the waterproof gear. It’s always better to have too many layers than not enough. A dry bag is provided for each participant to put extra layers in as needed. • Gratuities are greatly appreciated by your guide; 15-20% of the total trip cost is most common.
