This 5-acre pond is stocked with bass, bluegill, shad, and crappie. Any bass under 2 pounds is culled from the pond to maintain a focus on trophy-sized fish. Located about an hour and a half from Atlanta on a beautiful 700-acre farm, it’s the perfect setting for an unforgettable fishing experience. F1 strain bass are a hybrid between Florida strain and northern strain bass, offering the best of both worlds! These fish grow to impressive sizes while retaining the aggression and hard-fighting nature of northern bass. While we can fish with flies or conventional tackle, soft plastic baits are not permitted. We primarily target downed trees and other structures near the banks. The average bass caught here weighs around 5 pounds, though fish up to 10 pounds are not uncommon.
