Guided Hike (Full Day 6-8 Hours)

We hike at your speed and will never pair you up with other clients, and our knowledgeable guides will ensure that your experience matches what it is that you are looking for. The Speckled Trout Outfitters is the only company in the area to hold guide permits from the National Park Service, US Forest Service and NC State Parks. As our hikes are fully customizable, we can build a trip to suit your needs. Whether you want a relaxing trip through meadows, an adrenaline-filled ascent, or to splash in a waterfall, we have the knowledge and expertise to build your own adventure. A guide is more than a hiking companion - we are trained & experienced in a variety of skills: • Plant identification • Survival and earth skills • Search and rescue • Forest bathing, yoga, and meditation • Backpacking 101 & thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail training • Cultural & historical area information • All guides are at minimum CPR & First Aid Certified
