Trip details

Head 3 to 30 miles offshore of Islamorada as we target some of the hardest-fighting and best-eating species from our legendary offshore reefs all the way out to the humps. We're running hard and fishing harder. There’s a reason Islamorada has been dubbed, “The Sportfishing Capital of the World.” With an incredible diversity in fish species and fish habitat, there’s always something biting, regardless of the season. There are two main seasons for offshore fishing in Islamorada: summertime and wintertime. It’s all related to the Gulf Stream. In the summertime, the Gulf Stream pushes us further offshore, where we target blackfin tuna and mahi—this is a great time to put a lot of meat in the box. In the wintertime, the Gulf Stream pushes itself up against our reef—like an underwater highway that traps the bait along the reef’s edge. This is when the sailfish and mackerel come in. You’ll still catch your yellowtail snapper and mutton snapper on the wrecks, and there is always still the chance of a mahi or a blackfin.
