Trip details

All float trips are full day and for one or two anglers. Float trips can be for trout during the spring and fall, and some summer floats on the Tennessee tail waters when weather and release schedules permit. Floats for smallmouth begin in late spring and continue into early fall. Float trips for smallmouth include both fly and spin tackle. All rods, reels, leaders, tippet, flies, and lures are provided. Water and lunch are provided, however, if you have dietary requirements or food allergies you should bring your own lunch. Lunch is usually a quick sandwich and then back to fishing. Float trip start times are determined based on weather and scheduled flow releases, but usually start between 8 and 10 a.m. and end between 4 and 6 p.m.
