Spot and stalk. Get in to position. Make your shot. Present the fly. EAT! This Carp trip is unique because it is freshwater flats fishing. You don't have to leave the thrill of sight fishing big fish at the coast or in the Keys. Carp on the fly is the perfect training ground. Where else can you sight cast to 20 pound fish in 10 inches of water? On this trip we will fish flats in local lakes in a 16 foot Riverhawk skiff. We will pole flats and motor from one flat to the next in pursuit of these golden bones. I highly recommend some skill level coming into this trip. I am more than willing to take beginners on this trip but you might be disappointed. To catch a carp on the fly, you need a double haul and you need to consistently be able to put a fly on a plate from 30-40 feet.
