Shasta Lake and other local reservoirs are renowned for trophy bass fishing. While the prime months for bass fishing are from March to May, we experience excellent action year-round. These waters offer fantastic opportunities for both consistent action and the chance to land big fish. This is a great option when our rivers are too high and the turbidity of the water is off. Northern California reservoirs are unique in that they offer the opportunity to target trophy bass across the three main species: smallmouth, largemouth, and spotted bass. While March to May are the prime months for bass fishing, we experience great action year-round. We offer a mix of fly fishing and conventional fishing and can tailor the trip to your preferred method of fishing!
