Most of our fishing trips are based out of Hopedale, Louisiana, although during certain times of the year, we may fish Lake Pontchartrain when the bite is better there. Both locations are just a 45-minute drive from downtown New Orleans, making it easy for many of our clients to stay in the city and enjoy the local culture. However, we can also recommend a few lodging options near Hopedale, conveniently located close to the boat slip. Our estuary offers a diverse range of species and year-round fishing opportunities. Anglers can expect to catch redfish, speckled trout, sheepshead, black drum, flounder, largemouth bass, jack crevalle, sharks, tripletail, red snapper, and cobia.
