Taking the kids on a fishing trip, can truly be an experience of a lifetime for them. We make it an exceptional day, by specifically making the trip about them. Our guides are all kid friendly, most of them having young kids themselves. We take a different approach to these trips by catering every single aspect of the adventure about them, from the specialized rods and reels, to the locations we fish, to the types of fish we target… Where we fish… We understand that this special day on the water can make the difference in whether they ever want to go again, we have you covered!! We fish the calm, protected waters of the backcountry. Fishing close to the many Mangrove islands where the fishing is amazingly easy and fast paced. There is never any chance of seas or rough water back there. We use our large 24’ Backcountry boats that are dry, stable and have plenty of room… 1 2 3 4 5 What we catch… These trips are all about action, and lots of it!! We understand that keeping the little ones interested and having fun is paramount. We start off our trips with a chum slick that produces instant action on Mangrove and Yellowtail Snappers, Yellow Jacks, Jack Crevalles, all fish that instantly respond to a chum bag for some easy fishing. As the bite progresses, they can also fish for the many Sharks and Barracudas that show up for a free meal!! The majority of the fish you catch are excellent eating, a great way to finish the day at Hurricane Hole Restaurant… At the end of the day… Patient, professional guides that cater the adventure just for the kids, makes all the difference in the world.
