Trip details
** If you are traveling for this trip we highly recommend reserving at least two days of fishing. The weather can be volatile in the Spring ** These trips are the perfect way to kick the winter blues and start the season off right! They are some of our favorite trips of the year. We travel south to intercept the Bull Redfish migration. In these trips we typically find massive schools of Bull Redfish in shallow waters (2-15ft). We will sight cast and use our top of the line electronics to locate these massive schools. The Redfish on these trips range from 40" to 53" and are the hardest fighting fish of the year! It is truly world class fishing and something you have to see to believe. There is also a good chance of encountering big migratory Striped Bass cruising the shallows for an added bonus! Enjoy Fly Fishing? This is your time to shine! There is no better time or place to catch a Bull Redfish over 40 inches on the fly! We typically target these fish using light tackle Casting, Jigging and Topwater techniques with all artificial lures. We provide GLoomis IMX Pro Blue rods paired with Shimano Twin Power XD 5000 reels. ** We have Lodging available for our clients. A 6 bedroom fishing cottage that sleeps 12 adults within 10 minutes of the boat. The fishing cottage can be booked at checkout. ** *Tips are not required but greatly appreciated. 15%-20% is customary.*
