Reef Fishing

Weather permitting, we can target patch reefs very close to shore or the main reef systems 2-3 miles before the drop off on the Atlantic. Reef fishing trips are great for grocery runs! We typically catch various Snapper and Grouper species, Kingfish, Cero Mackerel, and Barracudas. On these trips we are usually chumming the waters & live bait fishing near the bottom. We won’t waste time catching live bait in the morning, we go fishing! The patch reefs we fish are very close to shore, usually .5 – 1 mile, and are 8-25 feet. The reefs close to the shelf are 2-3 miles from shore, and usually have us fishing 40 – 180 feet.
